The Clarence Lions Club is constructing a disability access garden at Rokeby which will be available for all people living with a disability to go to and participate in gardening activities. It is wheelchair friendly and includes a covered social amenity area which will enable people to enjoy themselves also. Our Club is hopeful that the local high school will become a vital part of it, thus enabling students to interact with those with a disability and perhaps find a career in that sector. It is predominantly a vegetable garden so therefore the produce can be shared.
